Algeria mourns the loss of a distinguished scholar, Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb, who passed away at the age of 92. His significant contributions to the service of the Holy Quran and the translation of its meanings into the Amazigh language were commemorated by top Algerian officials.<\/p>\n
Azouz Nasri, President of the Council of the Nation, extended his sincere condolences to the bereaved family. In his message, Nasri recalled the deceased's dedicated efforts towards the Holy Quran and its translation into Amazigh, emphasizing his role in disseminating the noble precepts of Islam and the values of moderation.<\/p>\n
"It is with a heart resigned to the will of Allah that we learned of the passing of the scholar Sheikh Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb, translator of the meanings of the Holy Quran into the Amazigh language and one of Algeria's eminent figures who successfully combined knowledge with patriotic commitment. He contributed to the spread of the noble precepts of Islam and the values of moderation and equilibrium, dedicating his efforts to the service of the Holy Quran and the translation of its meanings into the Amazigh language," the condolence message read.<\/p>\n
Similarly, Brahim Boughali, President of the People's National Assembly (APN), also offered his profound condolences to the family of the "Moudjahid and scholar" Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb. "It is with deep sadness that I extend my sincere condolences and express my full sympathy following the passing of the Moudjahid and scholar Si El Hadj Mohand Tayeb, who dedicated his life to the service of the homeland, the dissemination of knowledge, and the defense of its values," Boughali stated in his message, praying for God Almighty to encompass the deceased with His infinite mercy and welcome him into His vast paradise.<\/p>\n
