The decree is considered a strategic tool to bolster the national drug system and modernize medical practices in Algeria, adapting the regulatory framework to advancements in the health sector, including therapeutic practices, diversification of available substances, and mitigation of risks associated with the measurement, counterfeiting, and diversion of sensitive materials.<\/p>\n
The government also examined a draft executive decree declaring the public utility of the railway line project connecting Algiers to Tamanrasset, specifically focusing on the two segments: Mnayia-In Salah and In Salah-Tamanrasset. The Mnayia-In Salah segment spans approximately 410 kilometers, while the In Salah-Tamanrasset segment covers about 676 kilometers. These segments are part of the larger Algiers-Tamanrasset railway project, which exceeds 2,400 kilometers in total length. This development is expected to significantly contribute to advancing rail transport in the high plains and southern regions of the country, thereby enhancing living conditions and fostering comprehensive economic growth in the area.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, in its ongoing monitoring of drinking water supply, the government was briefed on the progress of two key projects. These include the construction and connection of the outfall for the seawater desalination plant in western Algiers, located in Fouka, and the project to supply the town of Tin Zouatine, in the In Guezzam province, with drinking water from the Tinzrouft water field.<\/p>\n
