Algeria\u2019s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Baddari, and Finance Minister Abdelkrim Bouzred, supervised on Tuesday the official listing of CRAPC Expertise on the Algiers Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony, held at the exchange\u2019s headquarters, marked the first time a subsidiary of a national scientific research centre entered Algeria\u2019s financial market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Baddari described the listing as more than a successful financial operation, calling it a strategic and historic shift in the development of university innovation and the national economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said the subscription coverage rate reached 104.55 percent, reflecting two major achievements. First, it showed the confidence of investors and economic operators in products and services resulting from Algerian scientific research. Second, it confirmed the success of the ministry\u2019s approach to moving universities and research centres beyond a purely academic role towards direct participation in wealth creation and job generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister added that the listing supports President Abdelmadjid Tebboune\u2019s directives to build a strong and sustainable knowledge-based economy. He also presented it as a practical application of the University 4.0 model and the broader objective of empowering universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Baddari, the initiative will help convert scientific knowledge, chemical and physical innovation, and research results into competitive industrial and commercial solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amel Selloum, Director-General of the Algiers Stock Exchange, said the admission of CRAPC Expertise reflects Algeria\u2019s national strategy of giving greater economic value to scientific research and transforming laboratory results into practical projects capable of generating wealth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The listing is expected to encourage stronger links between researchers, investors and industry, while opening new financing opportunities for innovative public enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
