Algeria\u2019s Civil Protection units successfully extinguished 141 fires out of 159 recorded across several provinces during the past 24 hours, according to an official report issued by the Directorate General of Civil Protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The report said the fires affected forests, scrubland, bushes, agricultural crops and palm groves in different parts of the country. As of 7:00 a.m. today, a total of 159 fires had been registered, with 141 brought fully under control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Civil Protection teams remain mobilized to contain and cool the remaining 18 fires in order to prevent any possible resurgence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the latest figures, ongoing firefighting operations concern one fire in Annaba, three in Souk Ahras, one in Skikda, one in Bouira, two in El Tarf, one in Jijel, one in Constantine, two in B\u00e9ja\u00efa, one in Sa\u00efda, three in Mila, one in M\u00e9d\u00e9a and one in Tizi Ouzou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The large number of fires extinguished within a short period reflects the significant efforts of Civil Protection teams deployed across the affected regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Firefighting and cooling operations are continuing in coordination with the relevant local authorities to secure affected areas and bring the remaining outbreaks under full control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Civil Protection services continue to closely monitor the situation, particularly in areas exposed to high wildfire risks, while maintaining operational readiness to intervene rapidly whenever new fires are reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
