The Boualem Bessaiah Opera House in Algiers hosted the awards ceremony for the second edition of the “Golden Credits” competition for Ramadan comedy and drama series broadcast in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the comedy category, the series “El Batha” won the award for Best Overall Work. This series also garnered the Best Female Performance award for actress Yasmina Abdel Moumen for her role as “Rabia” and the Best Male Performance award for actor Nabil Assli for his role as “El Laz.” The Best Director award went to Walid Bouchbih, the director of this series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the drama category, the Best Drama Award went to “Hadash Hadash.” The series’ director, Oussama Kabi, also won the Best Director award. Actress Jamila Arras was awarded Best Female Performance for her role in the series “El Rihan,” directed by Egyptian director Mahmoud Kamel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the Arab level, the award for Best Arab Drama went to the Syrian series “Awlad Badeea,” directed by Rasha Sharbatji and written by Ali Wajeeh and Yamen Hajli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
