The National Company for Maritime Transport of Goods, CNAN Algeria, has announced the launch of a new commercial maritime line linking Algerian ports to key destinations in West Africa. This new service will connect Algerian ports directly with Nouakchott and Nouadhibou in Mauritania, and Dakar in Senegal, establishing a regular shipping route for goods.<\/p>\n
According to the company's statement, voyages on this new line will be organized every 30 days, with a transit duration of up to six days. The fleet designated for this service comprises nine Algerian-flagged vessels, including two container ships and seven ships dedicated to general cargo, ensuring robust capacity for diverse goods.<\/p>\n
This initiative is designed to significantly enhance trade exchange between Algeria and West African markets, actively supporting the nation's non-hydrocarbon exports.
