Both parties acknowledged the unprecedented dynamism characterizing their bilateral ties, driven by the strong political will of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and General Abdourahamane Tiani.<\/p>\n
The partnership includes significant security and energy commitments. Algeria delivered a military gift to Niger on August 9, comprising four helicopters and military equipment, in line with President Tebboune's directives. This underscores Algeria's commitment to securing shared borders, asserting that Niger's security and stability are integral to its own. In the energy domain, Algeria announced a new phase for oil exploration in Niger's Kaffara field and renewed its pledge to support major maintenance for Niger's Zinder refinery, assist with international marketing of its crude oil, and supply the Nigerien market with petroleum derivatives.
