President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a congratulatory message from his American counterpart, Joe Biden, on the occasion of the 62nd Independence Day anniversary, according to a statement from the Presidency of the Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Biden’s congratulatory message stated, “I extend my warmest congratulations to you and the Algerian people on behalf of the people of the United States of America.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, “The longstanding partnership between Algeria and the United States is more important today than ever, as we coordinate our efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, end conflicts in Sudan, and enhance security and governance across the Sahel region.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding economic cooperation between Algeria and Washington, Biden said, “Our economic and trade relations continue to evolve.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He continued, “Algeria’s regional leadership has played a crucial role in addressing some of the world’s most pressing issues, such as transnational crime, extremism, instability, and conflicts.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
