In a television interview broadcasted this evening, President Tebboune, who announced his candidacy for a second term, expressed his gratitude to the parties that called for his candidacy. He specifically named the FLN, the Movement of Society for Peace, the Future Front, the People’s Voice, and the National Democratic Rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Tebboune emphasized the dangers of halting progress in movements like those experienced by Algeria, noting that stopping short of reaching a safe haven poses significant risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the future vision for Algeria, should he be re-elected, he stated: “An Algeria that commands respect militarily and scientifically.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
