University Alger<\/a> 3, in collaboration with the Commission d\u2019organisation et de surveillance des op\u00e9rations de Bourse (COSOB), officially launched Algeria<\/a>'s first professional Master's program specializing in "Asset Management" within its Faculty of Economic, Commercial, and Management Sciences<\/a>. This landmark academic initiative, set to commence in the 2026\/2027 academic year, marks a significant development in the nation's university and financial system. Its primary ambition is to support economic transformations and enhance skills within the financial sector, directly responding to structural economic and financial shifts in Algeria.<\/p>\n

The program is presented as an academic response to new investment<\/a> trends in Algeria, particularly addressing a recognized deficit in specialized national competencies for managing material and financial assets and investment engineering, aligned with modern standards. Algeria's economic landscape is currently undergoing reforms aimed at diversifying funding sources, modernizing the investment environment, invigorating the stock exchange, and promoting the role of both public and private investment funds, including venture capital. The new Master's aims to bridge this skill gap by training a new generation of professionals capable of guiding institutional investment and financial portfolio management.<\/p>\n

Designed in collaboration with COSOB and the University of Alger 3's Financial Investment Company (SIF-UA3), which pioneered the first university investment fund for innovation and startups, the program aligns with international standards. Its curriculum spans financial analysis, asset valuation, financial engineering, governance, FinTech, and artificial intelligence over four semesters. Students will gain practical experience through professional immersion and an intensive internship during their final semester with partners such as COSOB, the Algiers Stock Exchange, SIF-UA3, banks, and insurance companies.
