This reiteration highlights Algeria&#39;s consistent diplomatic efforts on this significant issue on an international stage.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Adjal detailed that Algeria itself was subjected to 57 nuclear tests and explosions, whose devastating environmental and <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-external\" data-dzsl=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">health<\/a> consequences continue to affect generations. He also highlighted the importance of regional legal mechanisms, such as Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones (NWFZs), in consolidating peace and security at both regional and international levels.
