The first edition of the Exhibition of Construction Products<\/a>, Ceramics, and Porcelain Materials recently commenced in Batna city. Hosted in a giant tent at the Saleh Nizar passages, the event gathers 65 specialized national companies from various wilayas. Operating under the slogan "High Quality and Promising Export Prospects," this exhibition aims to showcase the capabilities of Algerian products in the construction sector.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, running until September 22, was initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion in coordination with Batna Wilaya. Abdelslam Jahnit, who manages the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, accompanied by Wali Riad Ben Ahmed, oversaw the opening. Displays include a diverse range of national construction products such as sanitary porcelain, marble, cement, and various types and sizes of ceramics, with 30 of the participating companies already engaged in export to several African and European countries.<\/p>\n

Officials emphasized that this inaugural exhibition is part of a national program for salons and events designed to highlight the quality and export potential of Algerian building materials. This initiative seeks to boost Algeria<\/a>'s hard currency income and primarily aims to meet the needs of the national market. The event also features wide participation from national bodies that support investors and exporters, including various banks, the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development, the National Agency for Microcredit Management, and the National Center for the Commercial Register.<\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the opening, a solidarity convoy consisting of 10 large trucks laden with construction materials, including ceramics, cement, and bricks, was dispatched to Jijel Wilaya. This consignment, a gift from the participating companies, was supervised by the Algerian Organization for Trade and Social Investment<\/a>. Attendees also visited a showroom in Oued Chaaba municipality, showcasing ceramic and sanitary porcelain products from a specialized private group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
