The Algerian Agency for <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-internal\" data-dzsl=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?cat=50\">Investment<\/a> Promotion (<a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-external\" data-dzsl=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/aapi.dz\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">AAPI<\/a>) confirmed that a concession contract for approximately one hectare of land was issued through A\u00efn T\u00e9mouchent\u2019s decentralized single window to expedite this investment.<\/p>\n<p>The new production unit will focus on machining essential automotive structural parts, with a particular emphasis on metallic body parts produced through cutting, stamping, and forming. Its product catalog will include vehicle roofs, door reinforcements and crossbars, chassis floors, bumper crossbars, and rear trunk floors. The factory projects an annual production capacity of nearly 3 million units and is expected to create approximately 107 direct jobs during its <a class=\"dzsl-auto-link dzsl-internal\" data-dzsl=\"internal\" href=\"https:\/\/dzwatch.dz\/?p=79315\">operational phase<\/a>, contributing significantly to local employment.<\/p>\n<p>This project aligns with the national strategy to strengthen the subcontracting network and expand the base of local companies capable of supplying assembly lines, thereby reducing component imports and further anchoring the automotive sector within the country. The land allocation solidifies a strategic partnership formed earlier this year, following a major subcontracting agreement BOKS signed with the Stellantis group in February.
