Minister of National Education<\/a>, Mohamed Saghir Saadaoui, presided over a national video conference with education<\/a> directors to oversee ongoing operations and files within the directorates. The conference, held on Wednesday, focused on evaluating the progress of various initiatives. During the session, Minister Saadaoui commended the collective efforts of education directorates, local authorities, and the educational community, which were instrumental in ensuring a successful start to the school year. He underscored the importance of sustained coordination and integration among all stakeholders to consolidate achieved gains and foster stability within educational institutions.<\/p>\n

The agenda for the national conference featured several principal axes, including a thorough review of the successful candidates' placement in their positions and the assurance of student enrollment. Education directors from across all wilayas provided updates on these processes, prompting the Minister to stress the necessity of continuous field monitoring, data verification, and regular updates. Furthermore, the conference addressed the implementation of the Ministry's school health<\/a> week program. Minister Saadaoui highlighted the critical need for on-the-ground follow-up and urged school principals to complete evaluation forms for activities to facilitate objective and accurate data collection and assessment of the program.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Minister Saadaoui acknowledged the Pharmaceutical Industry Ministry's support for the school health week, which included the provision of health supplies. These supplies were initially directed to several southern wilayas, with plans for nationwide distribution. He instructed education directors to ensure the proper distribution of these provisions to students, with particular attention to those in need, and to document and monitor the process as a key component of the school health week. Additionally, the Minister emphasized the ongoing, regular oversight of both public and private institutions to guarantee adherence to established regulations and calendars, thereby maintaining the smooth functioning and regularity of the educational process.<\/p>\n

Minister Saadaoui also stressed the pivotal role of school directors in implementing ministerial directives, upholding regulations, and ensuring administrative and pedagogical discipline. He called for an intensified field presence from inspection and administrative services to closely monitor the discipline and normal operation of educational institutions and facilitate prompt action on any issues that might affect student schooling or the overall efficiency of the institutions.
