The National Social Insurance<\/a> Fund for Employees (CNAS) agencies across Algeria<\/a> have commenced Saturday operating hours, a measure implemented under the directives of the Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security<\/a>, Mohamed Hattab. This initiative saw more than 5600 users, specifically 5658, attend CNAS agencies nationwide on the first Saturday of extended service. The opening, scheduled from 8 AM to 12 PM, is set to be a regular fixture every Saturday, aiming to enhance public service, facilitate access to benefits for insured individuals, bring services closer to citizens, and strengthen the overall quality of care.<\/p>\n

The implementation of this measure was closely monitored, with a central director dispatched to supervise and support the process in wilayas such as Chlef, where all relevant services, including payment centers, other prestations, and medical services, opened and committed to regular continuity. Minister Mohamed Hattab personally conducted an unannounced inspection visit to several CNAS structures in Algiers to verify the operational rollout and reception conditions for users. During his visit, the Minister commended the strong mobilization of sector executives and employees, acknowledging their dedication to improving public service and ensuring its proximity to citizens.<\/p>\n

The significant turnout, with Algiers recording 412 tickets, S\u00e9tif 295, and Bordj Bou Arr\u00e9ridj 270 among other wilayas like Tizi Ouzou, Boumerd\u00e8s, B\u00e9ja\u00efa, Oran, M\u00e9d\u00e9a, Jijel, Chlef, Tiaret, and Bouira, underscores the public's positive response to the new extended hours. Citizens encountered in locations such as Chlef expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, which effectively brings essential public services closer to social security beneficiaries.
