The demonstration also denounced the ongoing Israeli attacks on <strong>Lebanon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The protest, organized by the <strong>National Action Group for Palestine<\/strong> (a non-governmental organization), was held under the slogan <strong>\u201cNormalization is Partnership in the Gaza Camps Holocaust.\u201d<\/strong> The participants voiced their <strong>support for Palestinian resilience<\/strong> in Gaza and across all of Palestine, demanding an immediate halt to the <strong>Israeli aggression<\/strong> on the Palestinian and Lebanese people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Condemnation of Genocide and Forced Displacement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The protesters strongly denounced what they described as the <strong>\u201cgenocide\u201d<\/strong> being carried out by the <strong>terrorist Israeli military<\/strong> against civilians in Gaza. They specifically condemned the <strong>massacres in northern Gaza<\/strong>, such as those targeting <strong>Jabalia Refugee Camp<\/strong>, which they said are part of a plan to implement <strong>forced displacement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chants filled the air during the protest, with participants calling for the <strong>end of normalization<\/strong> and denouncing the <strong>crimes of the Israeli occupation<\/strong> and <strong>American support<\/strong> for it. Some of the prominent slogans included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u201c<strong>Down with normalization\u2026 Palestine is not for sale!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Palestine is a trust, normalization is betrayal!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>The people demand an end to normalization!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Crush Zionism and the Americans underfoot!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>America and Israel are enemies of the people!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Gaza, Gaza, symbol of pride!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>Despite the bombing and destruction, Gaza will remain free!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u201c<strong>We stand with steadfast Jabalia!<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Continued Protests Across Morocco<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Demonstrators also carried banners with messages such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u201cNo Nakba after the flood, no normalization with aggression!\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cNormalization is complicity in the genocide at Gaza camps!\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cThe Moroccan people demand the dissolution of the shameful Israeli-Moroccan parliamentary group\u2026 Normalization is a crime of treason.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u201cFrom Jerusalem to Beirut, the resistance will never die.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This protest is part of a <strong>continuous wave of public demonstrations<\/strong> across Morocco, showing widespread opposition to <strong>Israeli aggression<\/strong> and solidarity with <strong>Palestine<\/strong>. Activists have been organizing <strong>near-daily events<\/strong> condemning Israel\u2019s actions in Gaza since <strong>October 7, 2023<\/strong>, with citizens participating in a remarkable <strong>5,800 demonstrations and 730 marches<\/strong> in various parts of the country over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Solidarity Movement of Unprecedented Scale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <strong>Moroccan Organization for Supporting the Nation&#8217;s Causes<\/strong>, the scale of solidarity exhibited by Moroccans has been described as a <strong>\u201chistoric and unprecedented show of support\u201d<\/strong> for the Palestinian people.
