The event, which took place under the slogan <strong>\u201cWe are the Youth, and the Future is Ours\u201d<\/strong>, was attended by local authorities, scout leaders from across the country, representatives of the revolutionary family, and members of civil society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his speech, <strong>Hamzaoui<\/strong> emphasized the educational role of the Algerian Muslim Scouts in <strong>nurturing children and empowering young people<\/strong>, noting that the organization now has <strong>more than 300,000 members<\/strong>. He highlighted the scouts&#8217; ambition to reach <strong>500,000 members<\/strong> in the coming years, in preparation for the <strong>100th anniversary<\/strong> of the organization\u2019s founding in <strong>2036<\/strong>, with the ultimate goal of achieving <strong>1.5 million scouts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Goals and Programs for the New Season<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new scouting season aligns with the celebration of two major national events: the <strong>National Migration Day<\/strong> and the <strong>70th anniversary of the November 1 Revolution<\/strong>. According to Hamzaoui, the program for this season focuses on <strong>leadership development and training<\/strong>, especially for young people, to <strong>equip them with the skills<\/strong> needed to play significant roles both within the organization and in society at large.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamzaoui also announced the launch of the <strong>second batch of youth leaders<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong>Ministry of Youth and Sports<\/strong>. He revealed that starting in <strong>November<\/strong>, the organization will host the <strong>Arab Leadership Training Program<\/strong>, aimed at developing trainers within the Algerian Muslim Scouts. The initiative will also include <strong>expanded training sessions<\/strong> in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In alignment with the state\u2019s focus on youth empowerment, this season will prioritize <strong>youth protection<\/strong> and support, complementing the efforts of other public institutions. Programs and curricula are designed to <strong>guide young people<\/strong> and protect them from social dangers and negative influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International and Regional Scout Events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new season will feature several important scouting events, including the <strong>Arab Cub Scouts Meeting<\/strong>, which Algeria will host in <strong>December 2024<\/strong>, with the participation of various Arab scout associations. The program will also include the <strong>Arab Guides Conference<\/strong> and other scouting events aimed at fostering collaboration and exchange among scout organizations in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promoting Social Values and National Unity<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Hamzaoui called for <strong>collaboration with partners<\/strong> to achieve a range of social objectives, emphasizing the importance of <strong>instilling national pride and civic responsibility<\/strong>. He encouraged efforts to <strong>promote successful initiatives<\/strong> in the community and <strong>combat harmful societal behaviors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also highlighted the <strong>digital transformation<\/strong> of the organization, noting the development of the <strong>SMA&#8217;s digital platform<\/strong>, which facilitates easy registration of members and the creation of <strong>scout clubs and groups<\/strong> throughout the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Achievements and Youth Leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting on the previous season, Hamzaoui mentioned that many of the organization\u2019s <strong>structures were renewed<\/strong>, including at the <strong>provincial level and within scout groups<\/strong>, providing new opportunities for <strong>young leaders<\/strong> to assume responsibility. Over <strong>one-third of the scout leadership<\/strong> now consists of young people under the age of 35, reinforcing the organization\u2019s commitment to youth empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the international level, Hamzaoui celebrated the <strong>Algerian Muslim Scouts\u2019 participation<\/strong> in the <strong>World Scout Conference<\/strong>, where, for the first time, the SMA earned <strong>membership in the World Scout Committee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ceremony Highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>opening ceremony<\/strong> included performances of <strong>national anthems<\/strong> celebrating <strong>Algeria and Palestine<\/strong>, along with the raising of both the <strong>Algerian and Palestinian flags<\/strong>.
