The ruling, according to him, reinforces the Sahrawis\u2019 position in their struggle for sovereignty over their land and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carmelo Ram\u00edrez, head of the Federation of Solidarity Organizations, expressed disappointment over the lack of progress in finding a lasting solution to the Western Sahara conflict, despite numerous UN resolutions affirming the Sahrawi people\u2019s right to self-determination. He highlighted the historical role of Spanish municipalities in supporting the Sahrawi cause, noting the significant political and humanitarian initiatives that have strengthened solidarity and friendship with the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants at the seminar developed strategic plans to expand support for the Sahrawi cause, with municipalities pledging active backing for the Sahrawis&#8217; right to decide their future.
