The Commander of the Republican Guard, military branch leaders, and other top officials, as well as representatives from Algeria\u2019s revolutionary legacy and the diplomatic community, were also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ceremony Highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony began with President Tebboune, accompanied by Lieutenant General Chengriha, inspecting the assembled military formations to the sound of military bands. In honor of the historic occasion, a 70-gun salute marked the anniversary, followed by the national anthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, President Tebboune congratulated the Algerian people on this monumental anniversary and praised the National People\u2019s Army for their dedication to safeguarding Algeria\u2019s security and stability. It began with formations of the Republican Guard\u2019s musical ensemble and cavalry, followed by symbolic units of veterans, cadets, and military school representatives. Units from the National Police, Civil Protection, and Customs Directorate also participated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The display continued with Algeria\u2019s land combat vehicles, featuring tanks, mechanized infantry vehicles, various artillery types, advanced air defense systems, and specialized engineering vehicles for support, bridging, and medical assistance.
