Upon their arrival, coach Vladimir Petkovic\u2019s players headed directly to Sidi Moussa for some much-needed rest before resuming preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group E Standings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After the fifth round of matches, Algeria tops Group E with <strong>13 points<\/strong>, followed by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Equatorial Guinea<\/strong>: 8 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Liberia<\/strong>: 4 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Togo<\/strong>: 2 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Algeria and Equatorial Guinea have already secured qualification for the AFCON finals, rendering the sixth and final round of matches\u2014Algeria vs. Liberia and Togo vs. Equatorial Guinea\u2014essentially procedural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Path to the 2025 AFCON<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The top two teams from each group will qualify for the tournament, scheduled to take place from <strong>December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026<\/strong>.
