The event, scheduled to begin on Monday, aims to address the challenges of the digital age and the rise of artificial intelligence in shaping young minds, organizers revealed during a press conference on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Building a Digital Future for Children&#8217;s Literature<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Festival Commissioner, Professor El Eid Djellouli, emphasized that fostering a creative culture among children is essential to help them navigate and benefit from modern technologies. Speaking at the \u201cMoudjahid Mohamed Tijani\u201d Public Library, he stressed the importance of providing a safe and responsible environment for children to engage with these technologies, which offer both opportunities and challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Books are no longer the sole source of knowledge for children,&#8221; Professor Djellouli noted. &#8220;Modern communication tools have become integral to their daily lives, offering a wealth of diverse content that broadens their horizons.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Themes and Highlights of the Festival<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s conference, held under the theme <strong>\u201cWriting for Children to Build the Future\u201d<\/strong>, will explore several key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Harnessing internet culture as a tool to promote children&#8217;s literature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing challenges in producing children&#8217;s literature in Algeria and the Arab world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Showcasing interactive literary initiatives, such as Palestinian children\u2019s literature that counters Zionist narratives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time, the festival will host a <strong>children&#8217;s story-writing competition<\/strong>, a recommendation from participants in the previous edition.
