This meeting was held at the request of the channels, according to a statement from the General Directorate of Communication under the Presidency of the Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement explained: &#8220;At the request of the accredited private television channels, Mr. Kamel Sidi Sa\u00efd, Advisor to the President of the Republic responsible for the General Directorate of Communication, and Mr. Mohamed Meziane, Minister of Communication, chaired a meeting with the directors of these organizations. The discussion focused on technical mechanisms to align with the new Organic Law on Information and the Audiovisual Law.
