President Ramaphosa underscored the importance of supporting marginalized and vulnerable populations worldwide. He stressed the need for African unity, cooperation, and sustainable development, highlighting the role of collaboration between Algeria and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He praised Algeria for its historical and ongoing solidarity, noting its critical role in shaping South Africa\u2019s liberation movement.
\u201cAlgeria was instrumental in training freedom fighters and was the first country to host the African National Congress’s international office,\u201d said Ramaphosa, recalling Nelson Mandela\u2019s deep connection to Algeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, President Ramaphosa and his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, participated in the 7th Algeria-South Africa High Joint Cooperation Commission and a business forum. Citing Nelson Mandela, he declared:
\u201cOur freedom will not be complete until the Palestinian people achieve full freedom and self-determination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding Western Sahara, the South African president commended Algeria\u2019s unwavering support for the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination. He called on the international community to uphold international law and the UN Charter by ensuring justice for the Sahrawi people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, President Ramaphosa emphasized the unbreakable bond between Algeria and South Africa, built on their shared history and united vision for Africa’s future.
