Algeria has reiterated its complete support for the Palestinian people in the face of the systematic genocide committed by the Israeli occupation forces. The Algerian presidency issued a statement following a meeting of the Supreme Security Council, chaired by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The statement expressed Algeria’s strong condemnation of the heinous crimes committed against the innocent Palestinian civilians and affirmed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Algerian news agency “Waj” reported the presidential statement, stating, “After a careful assessment of the tragic conditions of our Palestinian brethren and the systematic genocide carried out by the occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories, Algeria firmly rejects these acts against innocent civilians. It underscores its complete solidarity with the Palestinian people, firmly believing that the ultimate solution lies not in genocide or mass deportation but in the establishment of the Palestinian state with its capital, Jerusalem, the holy city.”
The statement also called on the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to shoulder its responsibilities in ensuring the protection of innocent Palestinian civilians facing Israeli aggressions.
