The Palestinian Red Crescent has publicly expressed its profound gratitude to the nation of Algeria—its leadership, government, and people—for their steadfast support of Palestine, particularly through the provision of significant and urgent humanitarian aid to the beleaguered Gaza Strip amid the ongoing Zionist aggression since October 7th.
Raed Al-Nams, the media spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent, stated in an announcement to the Algerian News Agency that Algeria has always been a principal supporter of the Palestinian people through all hardships. “Algeria has always stood with us in our times of trial, and their latest decision to send significant and urgent humanitarian aid has arrived in Gaza this Thursday,” he said.
Al-Nams added, “Algeria’s support and solidarity with Palestine, especially with the Gaza Strip, is unwavering in the face of brutal aggression. They continue to extend assistance and a helping hand to the Palestinian people during such difficult times.”

Following a directive from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria decided to dispatch significant and urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Crossing, utilizing an air bridge composed of several aircraft from the Air Force of the National People’s Army.
