Algiers, January 8, 2026 – ‘Gest Immo,’ the electronic payment platform operated by AADL (Agence d’Amélioration et de Développement du Logement), processed over 1,060,683 electronic payment transactions throughout 2025. These transactions represent the payment of monthly rental fees for AADL’s lease-to-own housing units.
According to a statement released by AADL, this significant number reflects a growing trend among residents of AADL housing developments towards embracing electronic payment methods. This shift is attributed to the ease of use, speed of transaction processing, and real-time tracking of rental invoices that the platform provides.
These results are in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, which aims to modernize sector management, enhance digitalization, and simplify administrative procedures. The Ministry has been actively promoting the adoption of digital solutions to improve efficiency and transparency in the housing sector.
AADL maintains that electronic payment has become the optimal choice for beneficiaries of AADL housing, offering convenience, security, and complete transparency in tracking their financial obligations. The platform encourages all residents to continue utilizing the service.
The increased adoption of ‘Gest Immo’ highlights the success of AADL’s efforts to streamline payment processes and embrace digital solutions, ultimately benefiting residents and contributing to the modernization of Algeria’s housing sector.
