Algeria’s Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, has exclusively announced to dzwatch the launch of the National Digital Empowerment Program “77.7” — a bold and ambitious initiative designed to equip Algerian citizens of all age groups with essential digital skills to meet the demands of the modern era and accelerate the country’s national digital transformation.
Operating under the slogan “From Age 7 to 77 — A National Path Toward Digital Skills,” the program targets seven distinct age categories through seven carefully tailored educational tracks. It begins with a “Tech Discovery” path for children aged 7–10, progressing through “Tech Levels,” “Innovators,” and “Professional Tech” tracks for youth and students, and culminating in “Tech for Growth,” “Digital Empowerment,” and “Senior Tech” tracks targeting adults and seniors up to age 77.
The curricula are standardized and fully adaptive to each age group, progressing gradually from discovery level to complete digital mastery. Cybersecurity awareness is integrated as a mandatory pillar across all seven tracks.
