Crude Output Highest in Three Years for Algeria

Algeria's crude oil production reached 995,000 barrels per day in July 2026, according to figures released by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). This achievement marks the highest production level for the nation in over three years, underscoring its significant presence within the global energy landscape.

The reported output represents an increase of 8,000 barrels per day compared to the previous month, June 2026, when production stood at 987,000 barrels per day. This sustained growth in crude oil extraction reflects a consistent positive trajectory for Algeria's energy sector.

This rise in production strengthens Algeria's position as a key contributor to the international oil market, enhancing its economic capabilities and confirming its active role in meeting global energy demands. The sustained performance highlights the country's reliable output as reported by OPEC.
