Farès Chaïbi Becomes Priority for Premier League Club

Algerian international Farès Chaïbi is reportedly a primary target for Premier League club Crystal Palace. According to information from the German newspaper Bild, Crystal Palace is demonstrating concrete interest in the Eintracht Frankfurt offensive midfielder and is expected to submit an initial offer. This interest in the 23-year-old player is not new, as Aston Villa and Brentford had previously considered his profile without making an official move. No formal proposal or financial sum has been disclosed yet in relation to the current discussions.

Chaïbi joined Frankfurt in 2023 from Toulouse for 10 million euros and remains under contract with the German club until June 2028. His recent performances have drawn significant attention, particularly his contributions to the Algerian national team, "les Verts." He played all four matches for Algeria during the 2026 World Cup, where he was noted as one of the team's standout players. He has scored three goals across 34 international appearances.

The versatile midfielder, capable of playing centrally or on the wing, has also started his pre-season strongly, providing two assists in recent friendly matches against Hull City and FSV Frankfurt. Crystal Palace, fresh from a historic season that culminated in winning the Conference League in 2025-2026 under former coach Oliver Glasner, is now in a rebuilding phase following Glasner's departure. Chaïbi's adaptable playing style is believed to align with the club's current project requirements.
