Minister Sayoud Orders Intensified Coastal Anti-Smuggling Efforts

The Minister of Interior, Local Collectivities, and National Planning, Said Sayoud, recently chaired a coordination meeting at the Government Palace. The session was dedicated to evaluating the current status of efforts against illegal immigration and reviewing various measures undertaken in this domain.

During the meeting, Minister Sayoud issued a series of directives and instructions aimed at bolstering coordination among the relevant services. A primary focus of these instructions is to intensify efforts in combating the phenomenon of illegal immigration, particularly along the national coastline during the summer season.

These directives are intended to curtail the activities of smuggling networks and to contain various forms of illegal travel organization.
