Zedadka, Lachaab, Ould Khaled Secure Champions League Spots

Akim Zedadka, Younes Lachaab, and Zinedine Ould Khaled, three additional Algerian footballers, have successfully secured their qualification for this season's UEFA Champions League. The players achieved this with Sabah, the champion of Azerbaijan, following a historic performance in the play-offs that saw the club reach the league phase for the first time in its history.

Sabah overcame a challenging situation, having lost the first leg 2-1. In the return match, the team faced deficits twice but managed to force extra time with a crucial goal from Tellur Mutallimov in added time. The comeback was then completed by Orphé Mbina and Joy-Lance Mickels, resulting in a 5-2 victory after extra time, securing a 6-4 aggregate win for Sabah.

Akim Zedadka played a key role in this memorable night, starting as a right-back. Younes Lachaab and Zinedine Ould Khaled are also part of the qualified squad, contributing to Sabah's achievement. This qualification provides the three Algerian players with the opportunity to compete against some of Europe's top football clubs, further highlighting Algerian talent on the international stage.
