OPEC+ Maintains November Oil Quotas Amid Price Rises

The OPEC+ alliance, which includes Algeria, has opted to maintain its oil production quotas for November. This decision comes as Brent crude prices have surged beyond $100 per barrel, a rise attributed to heightened tensions from the Iran-Israel conflict. Algeria's participation underscores its commitment to stability in global energy markets.
Despite the significant increase in crude oil prices, the collective decision by key producers such as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman was made on Sunday to hold production levels steady. Concurrently, the G7 has announced plans to release 100 million barrels from its strategic reserves, an initiative aimed at mitigating the impact of the price surge.
Algeria, as a member of OPEC+, plays a constructive role in these efforts to stabilize the international oil landscape. By adhering to the agreed production quotas, Algeria contributes to a measured approach to supply management, providing a steady hand amidst geopolitical volatility and ensuring a balanced response to global energy demands.
