General Chengriha Stresses Counter-Terrorism, Drug Trafficking Efforts

General Saïd Chengriha, Deputy Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the People's National Army, emphasized the special attention given to the First Military Region by the High Command. During the official installation of the region's new commander, General Chengriha affirmed the necessity for sustained efforts in preparing the battle force, ensuring its readiness for any emergency and its adaptability to evolving conditions.
He further stressed the imperative to continue combating terrorism, drug trafficking, and associated crimes with persistent effectiveness. These ongoing efforts are crucial for solidifying security and stability across the entire significant territory of the First Military Region.
General Chengriha also commended the positive outcomes from operations against remnants of terrorist groups. These qualitative actions have successfully eliminated numerous criminals, defeated misguided factions, and thwarted their detrimental plans aimed at compromising citizen security.
