Uzbek, Algerian Ministers Discuss Joint Geological Projects

Algeria's Minister of Mining Industry, Mourad Hanifi, and Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, convened in Uzbekistan to discuss expanding collaboration in the vital mining and geological sectors. This meeting underscores the growing diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations, highlighting a shared interest in resource development.

The discussions focused on several key areas, including the geological study of mineral resources and the development of promising deposits. Both ministers also explored opportunities for implementing joint projects, enhancing the deep processing of mineral raw materials, and producing goods with higher added value, signaling a comprehensive approach to partnership.

Foreign Minister Saidov emphasized the consistent expansion of relations between Uzbekistan and Algeria across various fields. He noted that the recent meeting served as a direct continuation of dialogues initiated during his visit to Algeria in June, signaling sustained efforts to strengthen bilateral partnerships and explore new economic frontiers.
