International Law Violated in Riyadh Airport Attack, Algeria States

Algeria has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the heinous attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The assaults reportedly resulted in the deaths of 12 civilians, including Saudi and foreign nationals, and injured over 300 individuals among passengers and airport staff. Significant material damages were also reported at the vital facility.

A statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized this brutal aggression and its innocent victims as a flagrant violation of all international norms, the United Nations Charter, and international humanitarian law. Algeria views the incident as a clear transgression against civilian safety and the freedom of air navigation, which is guaranteed by international civil aviation agreements. The nation emphasized that such actions pose a direct threat to regional and international security and stability.

Reaffirming its full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Algeria reiterated its categorical rejection of such behaviors. The Algerian government firmly opposes any actions that could infringe upon Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, or the security of its citizens and residents.
