Tebboune Chairs Meeting on Desalination, Port, Rail

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune presided over a cabinet meeting focused on critical national issues, including a proposed mechanism for the daily monitoring of essential consumer goods prices and availability across the country. This initiative aims to ensure market stability and meet citizen needs, reflecting the government's commitment to economic welfare.
The meeting's agenda also included a review of progress on key infrastructure developments. Discussions covered the advancement of the mining railway project, which links Bled El Hadba to Annaba Port, and the expansion of the mining quay within Annaba Port. These strategic projects are designed to enhance the nation's economic and logistical capabilities.
Furthermore, presentations addressed direct negotiation contracts for connecting outfalls to new seawater desalination plants.
