Annaba Phosphate Quay Completion to Expedite on Tebboune Order

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has issued a directive for the expedited completion and utilization of the phosphate quay project at Annaba port. The President underscored the project's importance, viewing it as a significant regional and Mediterranean asset during a recent Council of Ministers meeting.

The presidential order came as part of a review on the progress of various mining projects, where the railway line connecting Bled El Hadba to Annaba port was also discussed. The phosphate quay itself is integral to the broader expansion efforts underway at the Annaba port, aiming to enhance the facility's capacity and operational efficiency.

This strategic infrastructure development is anticipated to play a crucial role in bolstering Algeria's economic capabilities, particularly in the mining sector. President Tebboune's emphasis on swift completion reflects the government's commitment to activating key national assets that can contribute to regional trade and economic integration.
