National Inter-lycées Competition Returns for Student Excellence

Algeria's Ministry of National Education has announced the commencement of the first qualifying stage for the second national "Inter-lycées" competition, set for the 2026-2027 academic year. This phase will uniformly take place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, across all education directorates. The competition is designed to reinforce positive competitive spirit among students, develop their knowledge and intellectual capacities, and promote school life while motivating students to pursue knowledge and foster teamwork.

The competition is open to students from public secondary education institutions, private education institutions, mathematics secondary schools, and the Nation's Cadets schools in each province. It will follow an elimination format, progressing through provincial and regional qualifying stages before reaching the national level. These stages will adhere to a pre-established organizational framework and a defined timeline.

The Ministry has affirmed its commitment, in collaboration with education directorates and the involved institutions, to ensure all necessary organizational conditions are met for the successful execution of each stage of the competition. This commitment aims to guarantee equal opportunities for all participating teams and to achieve the competition's educational and knowledge-based objectives effectively.
