Ministry of Culture and Arts Launches “Kutubuna” Book-Exchange App on the App Store

The Ministry of Culture and Arts has announced the official launch of the national platform “Kutubuna” on the App Store for iOS devices, following its earlier availability on Google Play. The move aims to widen the circle of beneficiaries and make this digital cultural service easier to access.
“Kutubuna” is an innovative, interactive platform built on the exchange and gifting of used and already-read books among citizens. It enables direct communication between readers and facilitates the circulation of books among them, helping to revive the knowledge stored in homes and return it to the wider cycle of reading.
This digital initiative is part of the Ministry’s comprehensive strategy to modernize cultural activity and promote the dissemination of knowledge and knowledge solidarity among all segments of society. It does so by encouraging a culture of gifting and recycling books, making reading accessible at no cost, and keeping pace with digital transformation as an effective means of achieving sustainable cultural development and building a reading, interconnected society.
The Ministry invites readers, students, intellectuals, researchers, and reading clubs to download and register on the app via the following link:
