ANAP, International Press Center Sign Media Cooperation Pact

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has demonstrated a particular focus on the development of local radio stations across Algeria, a commitment highlighted during a national meeting of Algerian Radio executives. The Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, emphasized the crucial mission of local radio journalists to connect closely with citizens, underscoring the government's support for enhancing proximity media.

Further reinforcing efforts to advance the nation's press capabilities, a cooperation framework agreement was signed between the National Publishing and Advertising Agency (ANAP) and the International Press Center. During the National Press Day 2026 celebration, Massoud Algem, Director General of ANAP, and Raouf Maamri, Director General of the International Press Center, formalized this partnership.

This significant agreement aims to foster robust cooperation and integration between these two leading public institutions, with the primary objective of promoting media work throughout Algeria. The initiative aligns directly with President Tebboune's key goals for the media sector, reflecting a concerted effort to develop and strengthen national communication in response to contemporary challenges, under leadership described as visionary and professional.
