Dinar Appreciates Against Euro on Official Market

The Algerian Dinar has continued its appreciation against the Euro on the official foreign exchange market towards the end of September. According to the latest figures from the Bank of Algeria, the single European currency traded at 151.67 dinars for sale and 151.64 dinars for purchase on September 29. This marks a shift from the previous day's rates of 152.19 dinars for sale and 152.15 dinars for purchase.
This recent decline in the Euro's value follows several weeks of a downward trend against the Dinar. On a single day, the European currency decreased by 0.52 dinar for sale and 0.51 dinar for purchase, confirming the Dinar's ongoing progression. Over the entirety of September, the Euro's selling rate has fallen by 2.85 dinars, an approximate 1.8% reduction, with the buying rate similarly declining by 2.82 dinars during the same period.
The Dinar's strengthening trend has been particularly visible in the second half of the month. Since September 17, the Euro has lost 2.52 dinars in value for sale, with a further 0.63 dinar decrease since September 24. Comparing with the end of August, the official Euro rate has decreased by 3.26 dinars for both buying and selling since August 30, underscoring the Dinar's consistent appreciation against the Euro on the official market over the past month.
