SNRV, BK Investment Sign Steel Waste Valorization Pact

The National Company for Retrieval and Valorization (SNRV) of Algeria and the Slovak company BK Investment have officially signed a protocol of agreement. This collaboration is specifically designed to address the treatment and valorization of waste generated by the iron and steel industry. The accord marks a significant step in bilateral industrial cooperation between Algeria and Slovakia.
The primary objective of this new partnership is to develop a comprehensive project focused on processing and valorizing these industrial by-products. Such an initiative is expected to significantly enhance the exploitation of secondary materials within the steel sector. This directly supports Algeria's broader commitment to fostering a robust circular economy.
By effectively managing and repurposing waste from the iron and steel industry, the project contributes to achieving sustainable development goals. This valorization effort underscores Algeria's proactive approach to environmental responsibility and economic diversification through innovative industrial practices, leveraging international expertise to achieve these strategic objectives.
