Algeria’s National Office for Hajj and Umrah announced on Tuesday the preliminary list of travel agencies authorized to organize Umrah services for the 1448H season. As of Monday, a total of 490 agencies from across the country had been granted approval.
According to the office, 768 travel agencies applied for authorization to organize Umrah trips this season, including 69 agencies participating for the first time.
The office stated that 598 applications have been reviewed so far. Of these, 490 were approved, while 108 were rejected. It also noted that 66 official licenses have been issued, with 424 licenses already delivered to the approved agency owners.
