National People’s Assembly Reinforces Digitalization, Working Methods

President of the National People's Assembly, Khalida Boufedah, has emphasized the continued commitment to digitalization efforts and the development of working methods within the Assembly. She called for further strengthening of the Assembly's digital system, which has seen notable advancements recently, to meet the needs of various structures and departments. This initiative aligns with the broader digital transformation path being pursued across state institutions.

Boufedah recently visited the Assembly's data center, where she received comprehensive explanations regarding its components, equipment, operational mechanisms, and its crucial role in securing, processing, and storing the Assembly's digital data. Following this visit, she chaired a meeting dedicated to reviewing the status of digitalization within the National People's Assembly. During the meeting, President Boufedah reiterated her commitment to providing optimal conditions to enable deputies to effectively perform their legislative and oversight responsibilities.

The President further highlighted the special attention given to modernizing management and digitizing the Assembly's operations, consistent with the reform and modernization efforts spearheaded by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This vision aims to generalize digitalization, enhance transparency and governance, and ultimately improve performance and service effectiveness. These efforts are integral to Algeria's National Digital Transformation Strategy – Vision 2030, with the objective of achieving a genuine digital transformation in management, thinking, and working methods by relying on accurate information, interconnected systems, and simplified processes to ensure decision-making is based on precise and reliable data.
