Minister Saayoud Oversees New Wilaya Establishment, Wali Installations
Algeria's Interior Minister, El Said Saayoud, recently oversaw significant administrative restructuring and key appointments. This initiative included the establishment of Ksar Chellala as a new wilaya, marking a crucial step in the nation's ongoing efforts to enhance governance. Minister Saayoud also supervised the installation ceremonies for the new Wali of Ksar Chellala and the Wali of Tiaret Wilaya, underscoring a commitment to revitalizing local administration.
The new administrative division, particularly the creation of Ksar Chellala Wilaya, aims to bring governmental administration closer to citizens. According to Minister Saayoud, this measure is designed to boost management effectiveness and stimulate local development, with a direct positive impact on the daily lives of residents. He emphasized the collective responsibility of various authorities, including civilian, security, and military components of Tiaret Wilaya, to support Ksar Chellala during its foundational phase until its structures are complete and stability is firmly established.
Minister Saayoud further highlighted the pivotal role of municipalities and Popular Communal Assemblies as fundamental units for development and addressing citizen concerns. He stressed that effective public service relies on attentive reception, thorough listening, and providing clear, realistic solutions. Programs should be prioritized to meet the immediate needs of citizens, particularly in areas such as housing, essential services, and local community projects. The Minister also commended efforts within the education sector for a successful school year, acknowledging President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's dedication to improving schooling conditions, including providing transport, meals, and heating for students. He concluded by advocating for enhanced coordination among state institutions, local authorities, and security and military services to bolster national development and public welfare.
