Bank of Algeria Welcomes New Governor Mohand Ouradj Bouraï

Mohand Ouradj Bouraï has formally assumed his duties as Governor of the Bank of Algeria. The handover ceremony, overseen by Finance Minister Mohamed Lamine Loube, took place at the Bank of Algeria headquarters with institutional officials present. The President of the Republic appointed Mr. Bouraï to this key financial leadership position.
In his inaugural remarks, Mr. Bouraï expressed his gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by the President and acknowledged the significant responsibility of heading a sovereign institution. He affirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with all stakeholders across the banking and financial sector.
This collaboration, Mr. Bouraï stated, aims to actively support the economic dynamism currently experienced by the nation. His previous experience includes serving as the head of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions, as well as holding the position of general director for the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank.
