Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yacine Merabi, praised the progress made in modernizing the sector through the launch of digitalization efforts via various platforms and applications aimed at further developing the sector.
In his speech during the national meeting held on Monday to evaluate the progress of digitalization in the sector, Merabi highlighted that modernizing the sector is one of the key pillars of the ministry’s program. This initiative is part of the commitments made by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to improve communication in public service administrations.
Minister Merabi emphasized that the ministry has adopted a clear strategy for governing the digital infrastructure and services offered in the vocational training sector. The goal is to generalize digital practices across all sector activities.
The minister revealed that the sector has launched more than nine applications and software programs covering various areas related to pedagogical, administrative, and partnership processes. Among these is the digital platform “Tassir,” which can be considered a central core of the information system. He noted that these applications have proven effective and achieved positive results.
Merabi called on all those involved in the vocational training sector to continue this pace of work to accomplish the outlined digitalization strategy.
