Central Reinsurance Researcher Wins GAIF Award

Souleymane Si Taki Eddine Abderraouf, representing Algeria's Central Reinsurance Company, secured second place at the 35th General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) Congress. The recognition occurred during the congress events held at the Dead Sea, where winners of the insurance research award were honored.

Mr. Abderraouf's winning research focused on "Innovation in insurance without compromising foundations and principles," a topic assessed by a specialized committee of insurance experts using scientific and professional criteria. The GAIF insurance research award aims to advance professional and academic knowledge, encourage studies offering practical solutions to industry challenges, and foster collaboration among researchers and sector experts.

This achievement brought a prize of $4,000 for the second-place entry, contributing to a total of $12,000 in prize money across the categories. The honor for an Algerian expert at an international forum highlights the country's contributions to innovation within the insurance sector and underscores the expertise present in its financial institutions.
