FAF Welcomes Fans to Women’s Olympic Qualifier for Free

The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has declared free entry for spectators attending the women's national team's Olympic Qualifiers match against the Central African Republic. This strategic decision seeks to rally public support for "les Vertes" as they commence their campaign for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The match is scheduled for Friday, October 9, at 6:00 PM, taking place at the 5-July Stadium in Algiers.
Through this initiative, the Federation aims to attract a significant number of supporters to back the players, who are coached by Farid Benstiti. The encounter marks the first leg of the second round in the Olympic qualification series. The FAF specifically called on the public to "Be there to support the Vertes during their matches within the framework of the 2028 Olympic qualifications," emphasizing the importance of national engagement for the team's journey.
Football fans will have another opportunity to witness the team in action during the return leg, also held at the 5-July Stadium on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM. The FAF's commitment to facilitating public access underscores its dedication to fostering national pride and enthusiasm for women's football, contributing to the sport's development and visibility in Algeria.
