Egypt Hosts Algerian Preachers for Religious Skill Development

A joint training program for female preachers from Algeria and Egypt has commenced at the International Endowments Academy in Egypt's 6th of October City. Hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments, the specialized course, titled "Religious Preaching Skills for Female Preachers," is scheduled to run from October 10 to October 15. This initiative brings together select Algerian preachers with their Egyptian counterparts, fostering an environment for expertise exchange and the advancement of preaching performance, thereby reinforcing religious cooperation between Algeria and Egypt.

The training curriculum covers several key academic areas, including the development of preaching skills, women's jurisprudence, and the nuanced management of fatwas. Additionally, participants delve into the profound impact of Arabic language sciences on the comprehensive understanding of religious texts and the precise formulation of preaching discourse. The program's overarching objective is to bolster the professional capabilities of female preachers, contributing to their effectiveness in conveying religious messages.

Discussions during the program have featured prominent speakers. Dr. Sayed Abdel Bary, head of the Religious Sector at the Ministry of Endowments, outlined the essential skills for successful preaching, emphasizing the mastery of scientific material, the establishment of correct doctrine, and effective lesson preparation. He underscored the importance of understanding the target audience's needs and integrating outreach efforts across mosques and social media platforms. Separately, Dr. Asaad El Kaffrawi addressed jurisprudential issues pertinent to women, highlighting the necessity of accurate knowledge of Sharia rulings and their evidence, noting that fatwa issuance requires precise understanding of circumstances and adherence to foundational principles.

Further contributions included Dr. Mohamed Faisal's focus on the critical role of the Arabic language in refining preaching discourse. He elaborated on how grammar, morphology, and rhetoric are vital for defining meanings and comprehending religious texts. This emphasis aims to enhance the preachers' ability to articulate religious concepts with clarity and precision, ensuring the effective and impactful delivery of their messages and strengthening the bonds of religious understanding between the participating countries.
